For 20 years, I have been proud to call Johnson County home. Having lived in several other Midwest cities, my wife and I are happy to have chosen this community for our retirement.
Being involved in shaping the future of Johnson County has become a passion of mine.

I took early retirement in 2019 after a 37-year career as a director with a global agricultural food processor.

I am well-versed in analyzing and managing corporate budgets, communicating across executive levels, effective negotiating, and fostering teamwork to achieve goals.

Appointed to the Street Maintenance Sales Tax Finance Oversight Committee for the City of Olathe.

I currently serve as the Finance Committee Chair for a near-1700-household community.

In recent years, I completed the Lenexa Citizens Police Academy and participated in the Adopt A Street Program.

Past volunteer work includes service on church's Finance Committee, as well as volunteering as an adult leader for my township's 4-H club, and president for collegiate Ag Honorary.

Graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Agricultural Economics.
